She explains that conservation aims to safeguard the information contained in cultural objects, focusing primarily on preventive conservation, which is responsible for protecting the environmental and handling conditions of the pieces. On the other hand, restoration focuses on the restitution of aesthetic and structural values, always respecting the boundaries that prevent the original information of the artworks from being distorted.
